Draining stone is mostly green sandstone, crushed down to roughly 2 – 3″ diameter then screened to remove both the larger stones and the small stone to dust.
This makes the remaining stone ideal for drainage, where the stone is small enough to be filled in manually, but large enough for effective draining of water.
Delivery is usually by bulk tipper.
